If you're like me, you lot merely tin can't go rid of all the cards that come in for Birthdays, Christmases, Valentine'southward Day, what have you. So, don't. Instead cut them up and brand homemade puzzles with cards!

Materials Needed To Make A Puzzle With Cards:

• pair of scissors
• valentines or other holiday cards
• marker (optional)

How To Make A Bootleg Puzzle With Cards:

Footstep 1

Have your child draw lines on the back of the card to make puzzle pieces (I skipped this step, see why below)

Pace 2

Have your child beginning cut along the lines.

Step 3

Count the number of pieces cut while you lot are working together.

Step 4

Put the puzzle back together.

Notes:

I encouraged my son to cut his cards into four or five pieces, since that was pretty manageable for him. Sometimes he listened, and sometimes he didn't.

I should take had my son draw some lines first, and then try to cut forth the lines… only he got caught up in the excitement of cut, and so I just let him enjoy himself.

Making These Homemade Puzzles Even More than Educational

Ane of the reasons I love doing puzzles is because they are such bang-up learning activities!
